Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s CEO, is making a monumental move with a $10 billion investment in Meta’s computing infrastructure, signaling a dedicated push towards Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) development. This strategic move aligns with Meta’s goal of unifying its two AI research initiatives and achieving general intelligence that can surpass human capabilities across various demanding tasks.
In a recorded Instagram message, Zuckerberg emphasized the significance of building full general intelligence to power the next era of services.
